The Government confirms that enforcement at residential properties can resume from 1st June

Enforcement at residential properties in England and Wales

The Lord Chancellor and Ministry of Justice has announced that the guidance asking enforcement agents not to enter residential properties to take control of goods will end on the 31 May.  This will undoubtedly assist the enforcement agent in their visit to a residential property when enforcing a writ of control.

Over the past year, our priority has been dealing with the pandemic and the safety of the public and our Enforcement Agents whilst they are out working.  We welcome the return of being able to enter a residential property in England and to be able to support creditors in recovering their money.

Residential evictions in England and Wales

The restrictions on residential evictions in England and Wales expires on 31 May.

This past year has meant that landlords have been unable to retake control of their property, 45% of private landlords own just one property and are highly vulnerable to rent arrears.  Absolute Enforcement welcome the return of residential evictions and the ability to support landlords in recovering their property which they are unable to access through no fault of their own.

Should you have a writ of possession that needs enforcing, please instruct us and we will start the eviction process for you.
